A kind of microgreen termed daikon sprouts are formed from the daikon radish that is renowned for its gently peppery flavor. It is cultivated in the winter as opposed to the summer crop that's still fast-growing red radishes.
It is also used in Japanese sushi and salads.

You must be thinking that what differs sprouts and microgreens. Even though microgreens are often termed "sprouts", a sprout is actually the seed's initial stage of growth until the small green leaves appear.
Whereas, microgreens are harvested after a long time. They normally have long stems and larger leaves.

- 3 Tbs. of seed should be soaked for 5–11 hours in cold water.
