First of all, you all were thinking that what are daikons? Daikon is a vegetable. In simple words, it is called Raddish.



Daikon Raddish is different from red reddish because it is a summer crop and it looks like a long white carrot. On the other hand, red reddish is a winter crop and is red in color.



It is a long and white root vegetable that is planted all across East and South Asia. It also has many varieties because of the areas.



For example: if a seed germinates vertically then it is called "Kaiware Daikon". It is most famous in Japanese cuisine. The term "Daikon" is a Japanese word that means "large roots" and is also termed " Japanese Raddish"

A kind of microgreen termed daikon sprouts are formed from the daikon radish that is renowned for its gently peppery flavor. It is cultivated in the winter as opposed to the summer crop that's still fast-growing red radishes.

- 3 Tbs. of seed should be soaked for 5–11 hours in cold water.
